I was hoping for JK to do what George Lucas did and let other writers take over since she says she won't write anymore. But I found out she has been offered multiple times for TV Idea's and other ways of expanding HP and she has declined them all.

I'm a Hufflepuff. If you didn't know before. (And how could you not because it's right underneath my username?) Well, you know now.
Anyways, the point I'm trying to make.
Hufflepuff isn't a bad house.
But apparently my friend thinks so.
I have a Tumblr account and you can put little banners on your page. One of them says, "HUFFLEPUFF PRIDE" on it.
I have a friend who follows me on there, who sent me a very rude message that if I don't take off the Hufflepuff pride thing on my page, we won't be friends anymore.

Of course, I know she's kidding about the not being friends anymore thing. But what does bother me is that she thinks Hufflepuff is a bad house.
Apparently, because I wear glasses and I'm kind of smart automatically means I'm a Ravenclaw. That's what she says I am. That bugs me. Having glasses doesn't mean you're super intelligent. And being smart doesn't mean you're automatically a Ravenclaw. Hermione was in Gryffindor and she was at the top of her class. Lily was also very smart and she was in Gryffindor. Same goes for many other people.

It bugs me even more that she would be that rude to me. She's my friend, and also. She doesn't choose what house I'm in. Pottermore sorted me into Hufflepuff and it makes sense to me.

I hate that just because Hufflepuffs are the underdogs means that they pretty much get the most hate. I'll admit, I wasn't too thrilled when I got sorted into Hufflepuff. But that's changed. So being nice is lame compared to bravery, determination or intelligence?
Since when was nice lame? Since when was being loyal not as cool as being brave or smart? That doesn't make any sense.

There are great Hufflepuffs in the Harry Potter world. Cedric Diggory was a talented, smart, strong guy. Pretty much all the Hufflepuffs fought in the Battle of Hogwarts. So what if J.K. really didn't revolve around them that much? That doesn't mean that it's a lame house just because J.K. Rowling didn't really focus on it as much as the others.
